Raleigh Sunflower Field at Sunrise

I decided to check out the Raleigh Sunflower Field at sunrise today.  My wife and I headed out at 4:30 for the 45 minute trip to be there well ahead of the 6:06 sunrise.  The field is off of a section of the Neuse River Greenway southeast of Raleigh.  The field had been reported in a visitraleigh.com article, and also featured on one of the TV stations.  Raleigh plants the sunflowers in order to harvest and convert to Biodiesel fuel.  As an unexpected bonus when we arrived at the field, the moon was setting at about the same time in the opposite direction to the west.

Not much else to tell.  Spent a couple of hours there, just taking it all in.
